Tight fit; if they would fit at all.....not needed for normal road driving. I know, some probably want to take a ragtop on the track; well, Verts are not overwhelmingly welcomed at many track venues. Personally, ragtops are for parades, cruising to dinner on nice warm evenings and running up the west coast with the wind in your hair....or what's left of it.
In the rear wheel wells. There is an opening for airflow to come in over the exchanger.
2 louvers in the rear driver side wheel well air for diff cooler. For the transmission cooler there are finned tube coolers on the lines under the center of car. There is a small black plastic air diverter under the diff. Doesn't really work much for cooling like the coupes.

EX: Should I trade my Corvette in for a Mustang GT?
There ya go.
thanks for clearing that up, maybe I'll go to Pep Boys and pick up a couple of stick on scoops; that'll be the cherry on top, no?
You laugh about the disgusting Pep Boys stick-on scoops, but on a couple of occasions, a friend of mine and I, who show our cars (I won't mention my car, but my buddy's has been featured in several magazines, top of the line build and finish quality, mostly done by him), we've come in 2nd, 3rd or not even placed at several shows around the country. 1st place winners? You guessed it. Rolling gaudy tributes to every piece of crap stick-on at their local autoparts store.
So at some shows, depending on the fine taste of the judges, you'll have a winner with stick-on portholes on your fenders
