Default removing factory (riveted) side skirts

has anyone done this without destorying the factory 3/4 skirts? When I did the splitter it was a disaster Rivets spinning and stuff.

Any tips?

Really sharp drill bit and very slow at first, but I know they can be a pain especially if the person who installed doesn't seat them all the way.

You obviously do not get them out, unless there is an open space inside the panel where they can fall out.

Another reason not to install splitter and skirts with rivets when you can.
I used the same bumper cover screws that GM uses to install the extra fasteners along the leading edge of my stage 1 splitter. I did not want to use the plastic rivets, and did not want metal rivets in case I needed to replace the splitter.
