Ok GM lied Z06 was a race car and its not but it is one of the worlds best 0-60 1/4!

Racer
WGAF what happens after the race is over?? The OP set the parameters when he made this thread.
And for the other guy poo pooing the Hellcat, which is a hella lot closer than some here might suspect, just wait for the Demon. And just for clarity's sake, I could not possibly care less about any of the cars I listed. It was simply to refute the OP's premise of the Z06 being the king of the hill 0/60 and 1/4 mile.

Any basic interpretation of the language of what GM said/meant is clear to an ordinary consumer.
Except for the Hellcat, these cars are AWD and have a distinct advantage in straight line speed.

Guys the reason I started this thread is because the C7 Z06 is in a class action lawsuit for over heating problems when tracking the car it goes into limp mode on some 2015-2016 Z06'S and the jury is still out on the 2017. What I was trying to say in my post was the Z06 might have over heating problems on the track but it is still one of the fastest 0-60 an 1/4 mile factory stock production vehicles which is still very impressive PERFORMANCE NUMBERS. I was not trying to put down any ones Corvette or bragging about my Z06 but trying to protect some of the bad press the Z06 is getting when being on the track. Sorry if anyone got offended from my thread except ZO6 10f38 WHO IS JEALOUS OF MY PICTURES BECAUSE HE PROBABLY DREAMS ABOUT OWNING A TORCH RED ZO6 CONVERTIBLE!!!!! One more PICTURE for you ZO6 1of38!

Too.....not "to"
You should have stayed in school nine years ago.
At least this one will "be the last corvette" you'll ever buy....

Dave,
You seem like a nice enough guy, and I'm very happy that you're excited about your new Z06, but with all due respect, here's some gentle and friendly advice. Do yourself a favor and give the giant, screaming fonts and pictures a rest. We know what your car looks like now.

If you are going to flood us with pics (which is fine) then you could at least post some creative shots of your car. The parking lot camera phone shots aren't that great.

You're quite right that people have the choice to tune him out, and many no doubt will. The purpose of my friendly advice was to provide him with some ideas to keep that from happening.
So now I will tune out and restrain all 10 of my fingers on OP's threads.

That said, the Z06 is a beast and way more than any street in America will handle. So, aside from bragging rights, and those few true track car folks, its a beast to be respected.
I for one can easily have one in my garage, BUT, my wife drives the car as well, and a SC650hp Z06 is too much for her to handle and be comfortable with. Our current 2016 Stingray Z51 fits the bill. More than enough power, performance and most importantly, my wife can drive it with confidence.
To all those whom own the beast, enjoy. It is quite an engineering achievement on GMs part. Carry on.

Dave, rbatrick is correct. You live in Plymouth, near the ocean. Without leaving the city limits, because I know you are a home body, try driving to the ocean/beach for some cool pics.
