Do the convertible tops other than Black age well? Do they end up with any lines or dark/shadowy areas after a few years of being on the street? I am interested in gray or blue...
My '14 (Kalahari) has creases, but no darkness in the creases, yet. My '05 (Grey-Beige which is super light) had only creases, no darkness in the creases until ~200,000 miles.
The creases are expected, and the dark marks are too, eventually. Nature of the beast.
There are many ways to stave off the inevitable, however, but not forever, unfortunately.
My 2007 tan top had lines and dark spots that would not come off. It drove me crazy. I swore I would never have any color of top except black from now on. My C7 has a black top.

with the red head in the green Vert. All top will have creases, and dark makes over time. Lighter colors show more with black being the best. IMHO though, not enough to stop you from getting the color of top you want. Keeping the top clean is your best defense.
Most importantly, never leave the top down if it's wet.
