I would like to know if anyone else has an issue with putting your 2015 corvette automatic 8 speed transmission in gear either reverse or drive you get a jerk. doesn't happen all the time. And some times when going in reverse you hear a clicking noise and a small jerk. GM telling me this is normal behavior of the car. Just don't buy it
This is arguably "normal" when cold but still a defect. Fluid drains back out of the transmission when it has been sitting, so when you put it into gear and touch the gas it refills that section and then engages, feeling harsh.
There's a TSB where they can fix the drainback for you but it requires removing the transmission and is an invasive repair so I, like a lot of other folks, have written it off as a "quirk" we just have to live with.
If it happens when already warmed up and the car's been running for a minute or two then something else is wrong.

This happens with my car hot or cold doesn't matter. It started with reverse gear and they changed some parts but still have a jerk to it some times going into reverse but now going into drive it gives a hard jerk intermittently.
