Default Dash - material separating

Has anyone had this issue? Car has been sitting up for a couple weeks, under the cover - under a carport - went for a drive last weekend and notice that from the middle to the passenger side (about 6'X6" area) look like a bubble

sat in heat most of day and looks like it is gone - picked it up - don't know if it stayed down or not (out of town) will see Thursday if it bubbled again or stayed down.

just seeing if this is normal or need to check on warranty

I have the same issue. Have been trying to get it replaced under warranty but have not have much luck yet. One dealer has refused to replace the pad. I am planning to take it to another dealer in next couple of weeks. I will have to take it 1st thing in the morning. As the car sits under sun, the bubble goes away.

Do you guys have a 3LT interior? This is a common issue with the 4LT C6 (leather dash).

Default Dash

Just had mine mine replaced a little over a week ago. I have a post on here with some pics showing what all they took apart.

Had the same issue with a 09 3LZ dash. Fixed it myself during a windshield replacement. Discovered that the bubbling was cause by lack of glue. Everywhere the dash was bubbling there was no glue holding the leather to the dash pad. Crappy job by the dash manufacturer. I guess they saved 5 cents per dash by using less glue.

Bumper to bumper should cover it, but new dash will do it eventually. (assuming they still are not using enough glue)
