Came out after lunch and saw this. I felt like I was in a Transformers movie with my protectors surrounding me. Never fails, hundreds of spaces and this happens. Neither one was too close though.
It used to bug me when I parked way out in the back 40 and this would happen, but then I started thinking that maybe the people only wanted to get a better look at my car. Of all the times it has happened, I've never had any damage what-so-ever so they seem to be extra careful around it. (I hope I didn't just jinx myself).
I give up many years ago parking further away from everyone else. 1977, 2005 Z51, and now 2015 Z06 - no door dings yet so I am just lucky I guess. I must admit though, that is one gorgeous Vette.
These folks probably felt safe to part their car next to and/or around yours. My daily is a Chevy Cruze, but I treat it just like my vette because I hate door dings regardless of what car it is...
