Default Instrument Cluster

Just brought home a new to me 2016 1LT Coupe in Shark Grey, with only 500 miles. I was checking out the different controls and settings and somehow now have the Touring instrument cluster in place of the original one. Can someone tell me how to set it back

If your customized settings are to have the instrument panel match the driving mode, then you'll see Touring instrumentation when in Touring driving mode. So is the car in touring driving mode and you're seeing touring instrument panel, and it switches as you change to another mode like weather, track ect...or is it touring instrument panel all the time?

I don't have the owner's manual in front of me, but if it's the latter and in touring mode regardless of the driving mode you select on the rotary **** on the center console, then you were in the customized settings and had set it to always use touring instrumentation as the default setting. I have mine set to display the Sport instrumentation that has the digital speedo in the middle of the tach, with the tach front and center, no matter what driving mode I select.

Pull your owner's manual out and it will explain how to change the settings--I cannot remember because I've never changed mine from day one (had mine set up during my factory delivery).

Boxster it changes when I change the driving mode. I checked the manual and it explains how to do this but I can't find how to go back

I old brother. I just keep pushing the button until it gets back to what I want on there. You can't hurt anything, and I learn a few things along the way that I quickly forget. Good luck,

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but you can, independent of the drive mode you're in, select from different "views" for the control panel. On the right side of the steering wheel are four buttons (up, down, left, right). Press the left button. This will bring up a list of "views". Use the up and down arrows to choose the desired view. Once you've picked a view, then you can use the up and down arrows to switch between the different displays available for that view.
