some of the car shows require "hoods open". However, the C7 has power supplied when hood is open. What fuse or connector can be pulled so no battery draw is used for the several hours the hood is open for the show?

 

What power is on when the hood is open? The car times out after ten minutes, as long as you don't open a door or press a button on the fob.

 

I'm not sure its an issue. I've had my hood up all day when I added a switch to my NPP exhaust. No problem with that.

As Rooster mentioned, what power is on with the hood up? I know remote start won't work with the hood up but that's just a sensor, not an electrical load. Rooster also mentioned electronics time out in 10 minutes and I'd think that would include under hood electronics as well. Heck, mechanics leave the hood up for long periods of time, regularly.
