Beautiful! I'll bet your family thinks you're Corvette happy! I really like the side pictures of the Convertibles. I think they look better than coupes from the side.
Congrats on the Z06. You'll love it - they are a blast to drive.
Man, that Laguna Bllue Stingray convertible was gorgeous. That would've been hard to part with (and I'm a coupe guy).
Thanks! Yes, it was a tough decision to part with that convertible. Personally 'I think it was my best looking Corvette! However, the Z06 is truly a blast!

If there was any humbleness, it's gone now! No worries though, I'm happy for you that you have had so many Vettes. I'm not really the jealous type, but I'm feeling a twinge thinking about all those Vettes!
Congrats on the Z06. I'd be interested in your comparison of the GS vs. the Z06. I went with the GS, but of course I'm wondering if I made the right move. The GS has plenty of power, but the allure of 650 is hard to deny!

Thank You! The Grand Sport and the Z06 ride, handle, and stop about the same. The big difference is feeling all that torque way down low in the Z. Even though I have not taken the car over 3500 RPM (break in) you can feel that this thing wants to fly. The Z06 exhaust has a little more nastiness in it too. All 4 of these C7's have been great!

Thanks! I'm actually not surprised to hear that about the Z06, because the one thing I might complain about the GS (were I inclined to do so, which I'm not...) is that in 1st and just after shifting into 2nd, I feel it has a bit less power than I had expected. It's still good, but just not the beast I had thought it would be. I used to have a 1996 with the LT4 motor and it had pretty good "low end grunt" (and no, I don't want to hear any jokes about that one from anybody! ) that I felt compared favorably with the GS, particularly for a 21 year old Vette. Get the GS into the upper rpms in 2nd, and into 3rd or higher, and it's not even close. I'm just not sure how to spin this so the little lady will be on board with me *needing* to get a Z06...
Yes, I am Gary or "carzzy" from the Z06 vette forum. How are you Steve? Last time I saw you was at the Z06 Fest in Bowling Green in 2004. I had the 2004 Z06 Commemorative then. Those Fest's were a ball!
Still haven't changed...still buying Vettes rapidly. How's things? PM me if you get a chance.
