You spend a couple hours a day in the cars if I remember correctly. But I can't remember what I had for breakfast, so take my recollection for what it's worth. I went in April of 2016.
We had about 20 people in our class. Split into two groups, each group spent about half the time in the classroom and half the time driving. Given the material, I suspect that is the norm.
Teddy, it's a simple answer-they tell you at the beginning of each session....for every hour you spend in the classroom, 40 minutes of your hour is in the car. 20 minutes is classroom time.

I'm going in October. My wife wants to come along for the trip, but is not interested in what we all love. Are there things for her to do there? I know Vegas is close by, but that's not an option either.

She can ride along with an instructor as you drive in another car.
If it were my wife that's the best thing. She's not sitting there worrying if I crash her. She can worry about somebody else. In the end they do like going fast with someone other than you. That was my experience at NCM in Bowling Green. And it was

Ditto for my wife. But she had fun doing the ride along and hanging by the lake. Vegas is a long hour ride away...you are pretty much on property the whole time.

Thanks man, just trying to be a good Boy Scout and be prepared!
how many hours are spent driving vs. classroom. Do you do anything the day you arrive or only on the second day. How does this program work.
The classroom (down time) and driving time were pretty evenly weighted. Day two had what felt like the most down time, but also the most fun driving time. It was all worth going and I would not hesitate going.
And I just booked Oct 18/19.....without my wife....but golf the day before and day after. Just me, the corvettes, a burger or three and two rounds of golf....priceless.

Your wife can spend time at the lake. There are things to do there (paddle board, pedal boat, jet pack). She can hang out at the pool, use the small gym, or chill out at the condo or clubhouse.
My wife is a car nut like me so she sat through the classes and did 5 ride alongs with the instructors and rode out in the van while we did the practical exercises the first day. She had a blast and wants to return next summer for the 3 day class.

I just finish the 3 day level1 course. My wife attended a few classes watched some of me on course from tower and Michelin bridge. Also spent some time at club house with other wives. She did 1 ride along with Ken, said he drove fast. The major difference between 2 day owners class and 3 day level 1 is day three is almost all driving on course on your own even had some open lapping. Well worth the extra $$$

Jealous. Did the Corvette owners class June of '16. Wanted to do the level 1 or level 2 three day classes, but they're a little out of my price range right now. Someday...
