Time/difficulty of install? How did you get to the wires? There are holes behind the OEM emblem?
I see there is an option for dual intensity LEDs. I'm wondering how hard it is to tap into the brake light wires.
If your car is a coupe you can tap into the wires behind the cover.
If your car is a vert. like mine I had to use a coat hanger through the license plate lights and fish the wires down to them.
No hole behind factory emblem must drill a small hole to feed wires through. Hole is hidden with new emblem.
Pretty easy to do if your mechanically inclined. Have a friend feed the wire while you use the coat hanger to fish it down.
It took me probably about an hr and 10 mins. Not long at all.
When you buy the emblem they send you instructions but for the coupe not the convertible. It is a little bit different on the convertible.

I really like the look of it but can't help but feel like it should actually be the CMHSL (third brake light) rather than a tail light, since it's in the middle. But then you wouldn't see it as often, of course.

You can get one that come on when brake lights come on. I like it when the lights come on.

Nice touch! On their website, they show both single and dual density colors. Which one did you get and any idea what the difference is? Did you go with red? I ask only because it appears slightly orangish on my screen.

I got amber color. The duel intensity has to be red because it works with the brake light. I chose my color cause it plays off my paint color.
