Default Reverse tilt mirror

so - has anyone had any issues with the reverse tilt mirrors? My passenger side on occasion, id say 50% of the time will not only tilt down but tilt way out away from the car also. And then comes straight back up and stays out. It makes no sense.

Ideas??

Thanks!

I don't like the reverse tilt the way they have it setup. My tip for folks (if you have only one driver) is to use driver memory position 2. Find the way you like to have your mirrors positioned and then set it to memory 2. You can then easily switch to that mirror setup with a push of a button.

I got to agree - GM setup for the reverse mirror are suboptimal. They should have it rigged so that the mirror selector switch controls the tilt down. Push the mirror select button to the left, and the left mirror auto tilts down, right does the right, and centered neither mirror tilts.

YES I have had this happen on my 2017 Stingray and I had to go back into the settings and set up both FOB's the same way and since then I have had no issues with the passenger mirror not coming back and/or coming back and being out to the side so far you can use it.

My mirrors go down fine but the pass side one often fails to come all the way back up. I have to push and hold the Mem 1 button to get them to come back up all of the way.

That's how it is in my Caddilac STS. I wish they had the same in the Vette. In only certain circumstances do you need a particular mirror to tilt.

Check with that cute Ginger on YouTube and get your memory settings correct to start with.
