I purchased the pro-tek-t because I have the exposed carbon fiber stage 2. I have not had time to install it yet. It's a 3 piece system that looks to be pretty straight forward.

Those grill openings look amazing.
I've got to know if that paint or is someone making those.

I bought one at our High performance and Corvette show in February !!! Things you would need to have !!! A close quarter drill ,low profile jack and since you would be using factory holes so thong screws or bolts to mark those factory holes !!! I tapped the unit up 1 section at a time ( 2 sections left and right ) I jacked the car up setting it under the each wheel assembly but leaving the tires on the ground !!!! I know this is alot of information and you could email me and I will send pictures !!! Wayne

Yep, great product. Here is a PDF of my install. May still have the 30% discount.

Scrape Amore installed on my 2017 Grand Sport splitter with Stage 2 aero package (with Stage 3 winglets.) They have units for most C7's even for the bumper without a splitter.

Seems to me that anything you put below the splitter is just going to make it more likely to drag...and just getting pushed upward can break carbon fiber.
I would just be careful where I drive and take my chances.
I have Stage 1 splitter and have never hit it even once.

I scraped the carbon fiber splitter I had on my C7 a few times, only the very bottom was damaged.

This product feels like Teflon and sticks down less that 1/4 inch on my Grand Sport Stage 2 aero splitter, (not the poverty splitter that coves with the Grand Sport.) It would have prevented the damage I sustained on my C7 carbon fiber splitter.

Yep if your careful may not have a problem but just in case!

Jerry,

I have a C7 stingray with a RPI Stage 2 Z06 splitter...

https://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=5148

looks just like the factory one. Do you know if this product would work with that splitter?

Thanks,

-M

I swapped out my stock grill for ZO 6 grill and I had the air ducts painted Blade silver . A lot of guys paint them the same color as the car but that didn't do it for me, I was driving behind a blade silver stingray and watching it change from silver to White and said that's the color they need to be 😎

I don't. Know they were working with some car manufacturers and at least one Vette aftermarket splitter manufacturer.

The PDF had an email of a person who would know.

No, but I have thought of joining before.

In the past their site has looked dead. Wasn't sure if they were still up and going or not.

I have the same set up, after talking to the rep he did not know (was not sure about aftermarket) I went ahead and purchased it anyway. I have not installed it yet but I did test fit it so to speak and looks like it will be O.K. One thing I know for sure is that the c/7 does not have the Z-06 undertray. I don't think this will be issue, it probably can be purchased separately ???

I have the factory carbon fiber painted stage III on my C7 it does not need the under tray to work but I believe you can add under tray I'm sure someone else on form can confirm this R_
