What's the best choice in covers? I'd want something I could use while traveling, so it would need to be an indoor/outdoor cover. Are the factory covers offered by Chevrolet good or is their a better value out there?
The two links below should help. I just got a GM Grand Sport indoor cover last week and like it a lot. It's very light, fits well and has a very soft under liner to protect finish. Also came in a very nice carry bag w/corvette embroidered. I'm not really into outdoor covers. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...and-sport.html
The GM outdoor cover is a very nice cover, but it's not cheap. I was able to score a nice used one here from a forum member. It is great for outdoor, but in my opinion, the GM outdoor unit, is overkill if you're primarly needing an indoor cover so I ended up picking up a nice cloth one for indoor use. Sounds like you primarily need one for outdoor use so it would do great, but there are also some other options. For example, I think either CoverCraft or CoverKing makes the GM outdoor cover.
I'm also very pleased with my indoor cover which was purchased from Amazon (West Coast Corvette/Camaro): 2014-Current C7 Corvette Indoor Ultraguard Stretch Satin Car Cover $169
