Ok I have had my 17 GS blade Silver with Spice Red interior with NAV for 3 week now and I love my car. I have read the manual over and over I can't find the answer to one thing that is bugging me. I have also checked setting and nav icons . When driving I'm getting a chime and message on screen and voice telling me up coming traffic. I tried stopping voice messages, and other selection in Nav menu. I sure there is away to stop message but I can't find it . Can some one tell me how to stop traffic message . Thanks Dave

The traffic info you are hearing is coming from SiriusXM NavTraffic.
With the Navigation Screen showing in the center stack, touch the bottom part of the screen to bring up options along the bottom. You should see a MENU option, touch that. You will then get about 6 or 7 options on the next screen, one of them is TRAFFIC. Touch or select that option and you should see about 4 or 5 more TRAFFIC options. The last option is called TRAFFIC TYPES. Select that one, and there should be 4 items that can be checked such as Advisories, Construction, Closure, and Delays. I think if you uncheck the "Delays" that should stop you from receiving alerts about up coming traffic.

The traffic and weather out perform their music. A few years ago they started to offer, at a cost, a customized music channel playing songs you like to hear. Their normal music format now sucks. No advertizing, ha! They advertise their channels with horrible jingles, all the time! We need another sat radio system.

I couldn't agree with you more. They're paying for these ridiculous station ID jingles and for the moronic jabber between songs and it's all nothing but annoying. I wonder how many subscribers they think they'd lose if they just eliminated that crap.
on my Silverado I just turn the ''voice'' volumn down
I tried checking off voice but it still cut out the radio sound and showed up on screen. The way DudleyG said seems to have solved problem no voice , no wording on screen or no cutting out radio sound. Dave
