Default Steering column

Is there a way to set up the steering column so that it automatically goes up when you open the door to exit? My C6 did it. Can't figure out how to in my new C7. Thanks!
How to set the Exit mode?
the manual is never clear. Written by geeks not for the common man

If you have the memory seats, check that cute Ginger on YouTube.

I was able to have steering wheel go up and in when I exit but I have to use exit button on door not sure if you can set car for what you want with out using exit button. I will be looking to see if someone else has another way . But this is what I did if it helps you out. I had car running and set seat and steering wheel to the position I wanted for exiting car . Then held down exit button which is next to #2 memory seat button. Make sure you hold button down until you here 2 beeps. Then before exiting car just hit button wheel and or seat will move. You will need to have the memory seat option. Hope this helps Dave

Just a side note I found if you are also setting seat don't have seat all the way back bring it forward just a bit from all the way back before setting memory exit button. Dave

If set up correctly the seat/steering wheel move to exit position when car is shut off & driver door is opened. Not necessary to push exit button.
