C7 Purchase

OP, Take into account the remaining B2B warranty. Most 2014s don't have one. Some 2015s have run out. If you buy a car with the B2B still in effect, you can extend it as long as it does not exceed the time or mileage. Most 14s and 15s still have the drive train warranty in effect.
Be sure to check to see what warranty is in effect before you buy. There's been some stories on the forums of folks who bought used Vettes that for whatever reason have had the warranty or a portion of it blocked. It's rare, but it does happen. Also check the service record of any car you get serious about with a GM dealer. That way you can tell if the car was one of the many problem free cars or one of the few that caused their owner a lot of grief. In this age of computers, there's a lot more info available to a buyer than only a few years ago.

Please help out this C7 virgin. What is a B2B warranty? Still concentrating on selling my 67, so I haven't had much time to check into such issues.
Thanks,
Rick

OP:
See the Sticky at the top of the Forum Page.
There's a graph with member input for A8 Failures and no Failures, model years, mileage, reasons, fixed, not fixed ...... etc etc.
Wouldn't say it's the Bible of Failures & No Failures, but it can help new owners decide what to buy

Had a brain fart over the B2B warranty, then while laying in bed last night the light bulb went on. Thanks for the warranty tips roadbike56. appreciated very much.
Sorry for my late responses, working on other C2 restorations and attending cruise-ins with my car to help in it's sale.
