I usually fill close to my house, so I usually check with Gasbuddy for the best price among Top Tier stations near me--usually Exxon, Chevron, or Shell. I don't use non-Top Tier in anything except my lawn equipment which all have carburetors and it probably doesn't matter with them.
I use Costco premium fuel in my Corvette. It is a top tier gasoline and is less expensive than any other station around here.

In terms of cleanliness per hour of use, top tier is even more important in lawn equipment than a car for two reasons. First, an air cooled engine tends to have more hot spots than a liquid cooled engine, and hot spots aggravate fouling. Second, a carburetor is considerably worse than fuel injection on cleanliness, meaning a good detergent to keep it clean is even more important. If you were around in the “good old days”, you’ll remember having to have your carb rebuilt at regular intervals, with the main reason being to clean the internals in some super strong solvent to get the deposits off. Deposits form more in carbs than injectors because there’s more vaporization (as opposed to the desired atomization) in a carb, which concentrates the baddies, and there’s also much more exposure to air in a carb with the float bowl assembly. So do your lawn stuff a favor and use top tier in it too.
If I'm traveling, I go to Chevron (or Shell, if Chevron is not convenient).
My logic is that if I can afford to buy a Corvette, then I can certainly afford an extra ~8 cents a gallon to feed it top tier gas. I've never understood those who will spend $50k+ on a sports car, then go as cheap as humanly possible on gas, tires, oil, etc.
Nothing wrong with wanting cheap transportation, but if that's your goal, why on earth buy a Corvette, and not a Civic/Corolla/etc for 1/3 the price?
I use Costco pretty much exclusively for my Vette, mostly because it is the least expensive top tier fuel. If not Costco, then I will usually head over to QuikTrip (QT) which is also reasonably priced top tier fuel.
Chevron. 91 octane is the tops in AZ. I don't like to fill up right in Lake Havasu because it is 20 cents more expensive than on the outskirts of town. In town it is 2.90 per gallon. Must be a city tax or something like that.
