Perhaps this will help you. I have a 15 thought so I do not know if this will help with the CEL problem with the Range.
How To: Range AFM Disabler – No More Parasitic Battery Drain via Relay in Cord
Since I wrote the above, I do not have any switch anymore. Just the cable with the relay. I never turn off the range and don't need to worry about accidentally turning the switch off with my knee. No more stink'in V4 mode. If I wanted a F'ckin Prius, I would be driving that.
