Default Looking for advice on new wheels

I have a 2014 blade silver C7 2LT (non-z51) with stock chrome 18/19" wheels. I love the look of the Z06 wheels and I am torn between the chrome and black chrome reproduction wheels. Looking for some advice on which ones to get. Sorry to say I am not a black wheel fan.

Thanks!!!

I am not a chrome fan, but after seeing chrome wheels on my Sterling Blue, I just thought it looked better than black. I think a machined wheel would look best though.

Based on your preferences, I think chrome will be your best bet. Me personally, I prefer black wheels on my blade silver ride, but that's just me. It will look good either route you take.

I had a C6 which was machine silver and had Chrome Z06 wheels.....looked great. Black would have not worked. Stay with the chrome. It looks much richer.

IMHO black wheels do nothing for any car but you can also get the ZO6 wheels in gray with a polished ring which look great on a silver car. If you want to see how it would look go on the Corvette Museum web site and check out the car on Delivery 1.

And I had a Corvette with stock wheels redone to black chrome. It gives you say, 90% of the chrome look (or less) and a slightly different "color." It's a smokey chrome look. I'd talk with Florida Wheel if that's the vendor, and ask them what is their policy re wheel mounting/testing to make sure the wheel is perfect. Each vendor has their own rules.

You should get what you want. When it's my turn, I'm getting the chrome Z06 wheels.

Have you considered brushed silver?

I have a 17 GS and it came with pearl nickel painted alum. and I am old school and like the bling. Searched around and found a set of C7 Z06 chrome like in your pic and I think they look awesome. Everyone is different in what they like so look around and find a vette just like yours if possible with the different color style wheels and this will make your choice easier. Good luck

I bought wheels from those guys, Doc/Z, and they were excellent. Just saying and if I replace my wheels I have now that's where I'll go. They're 1 1/2 hour drive for me. I just wish they'd come out with Chrome GS style wheels. I really like them.
