Picked up my new 2018 GS today - Delivery by Mike Furman
I picked up my new GS today. I ordered it over the phone with Mike Furman in June just a couple of days before the plant shutdown order cutoff date. My car was ordered, built, and delivered to Criswell all within one month. Since the car came in much earlier than expected, I wasn't ready and was still trying to get everything in place, so Mike offered to hold it for me for a couple of weeks until I was ready. 2018 GS, Long Beach Red, Kalahari, 2LT, chrome wheels, auto, GS floor mats, battery maintainer and personalized dash plaque. It had 3 miles on it when I took it for the test drive. It looks fantastic, better than I imagined it would.
The ride home was awesome and filled with plenty of folks checking out the car. My wife and I stopped for lunch and while the car was parked folks stopped to check it out, took pictures of it, one of which gave us the thumbs up while telling us, "I love your car" when we were leaving.
Buying the car from Mike Furman was a seamless process. As I mentioned earlier, I placed the order of the phone with him. I pretty much knew what options I wanted, but there were a couple that I wasn't sure about so Mike and I discussed them, and with his input I made a decision that I am happy with. Mike kept me informed throughout the entire process. Other than the phone calls and e-mails, I hadn't met Mike before today at delivery. During the delivery process he never made us feel rushed once. It was like we were the only delivery he had today which I know wasn't the case, especially on the last day of the month. "Hats off" to Mike Furman regarding the entire buying process.
