I had my stock grill on my '14 replaced with a Z06 version, looks great! But what do I do with the old one? It's sitting in my garage looking back at me like a 13 year old smiling at me with braces/retainer on (I'm a teacher, sorry).....hang it up? Sell it? Use it for a giant wind chime? Any ideas Vette Bro's?
I got rid of my retainer grill when I traded it the with the car and got my Z06. Don't really have a suggestion what to do with the old grill. Make wall art? I have the same delima with stuff you upgrade like original floor mats, wheel well non mud flaps, etc.
Stick it in recycle at the dump or give it to a junk yard. They have a pretty extensive national parts database. Maybe someone would need it for a rebuild job.
I always put all of the stock stuff I change-out in a box and let the person I sell the car to have it. Maybe they throw it out when they get home. Maybe they want it back to stock.
Keep it...before long, there are going to be so many C7s running the Z06 grille that you will want to put it back on to be different...just paint the chrome piece before putting it back on
I'd put it on eBay if there aren't a dozen already up there. Someone somewhere is somehow going to break a grill and need one, so if there aren't a bunch already for sale, throw yours up there!

Hey, the grill is on the front of the car. Which end do people usually run into things?

I skipped the hassle of changing back to the stock grille and just left it stock.
You are not alone. Maybe get some LED lights, run them alone the back of the grill, hang the grill on the wall in your basement, and plug her in. I did that with the old tail light panel from my '67 Camaro, and it turned out pretty nice. It's a neat conversation piece. IMHO.

I'd hang on to it. You'll probably not be able to sell it, but just in case you want to go back to stock, you'd have it.
Reminds me of the time I had the exhaust on my old C4 upgraded to a Borla. The guy who ran the Corvette shop that did the work showed me an entire wall, literally, 2 or 3 exhausts deep of OEM exhausts that had been upgraded. He said he couldn't do anything with them, but he's a pack rat, so I doubt he could throw them out either.

I dunno... if you ever plan to sell it, being able to go back to the stock grille could come in handy. People think anything "custom" or different is nice, and it is for them, but that doesn't mean everybody would like it. I figure if you have the storage space, and it's no hassle to keep it, why not?
