Exhaust module failure
Just bought my first Corvette 2017 C7 LT2.
Check engine light came on and the exhaust made a noise I would expect from a 1957 Impala. Dealer replaced and 5 miles later it happened again. whats up with this car??

Probably an AFM noise control valve; they are a problem in track use (one reason the Z06 doesn't have them) but they normally don't fail in regular service. If it is failing due to heat I would suspect a cat on that side is also getting too hot.
