Let me tell you something with a law enforcement point of view. If a good thief wants your car. No alarm is going to help you. Its gone.
I think the factory one is sufficient. It's got intrusion, motion, and movement sensors and doesn't false alarm on me, so that's a good combination.
On my first two Vettes installed extra vibration alarms that would go off when the wind was blowing hard! No need with my 2014 C7 or now my Grand Sport. The movement alarm scares the heck out of me every time I forget to shut it off and jack up the car!
I also like that little red blinking light that reminds folks it has an alarm. Have one on the alarm system I installed on my Street Rod.
