Last night, coming home, there was this Jeep Commander that kept driving 65 mph in the left lane and when I passed on the right he would pass me again, even when I was doing 80.
He then would slow to 65 again and I would soon catch him.
The last time I passed him, I lit it up, and at 65 mph in D, I spun the tires.
By the time I got passed him the speedo was at 100. So 65 to 100 in about 100 feet.
This is my 4th Corvette C5, C6, C6GS and now 2017 C7 1LT and the power is amazing. I can't imagine needing any more power except at the track.
Power is great. But doing 65 in D and you spun the tires? Traction control off? Maybe it's the wider rear tires in my GS or some other variable, but I've done that move before, many times, and never came close to breaking loose tires, it just goes fast (traction is good :-)

The tires didn't break loose, I could just feel them slipping and I could hear them chirping.
Came up upon a minivan speeding up, slowing down then weaving around. Years ago I'd have thought drunk but not anymore because even drunk people drive better thantexting drivers. I finally pulled up next to her and looked over. The phone was laid against the steering wheel and she had two thumbs going hard and was sporting a ****-eating grin. I pucnched it hard and gave her some serious exhaust pipe. Hopefully she dropped the phone. I would rather have drunk drivers out there than texting drivers. Just a different but more even more dangerous form of stupidity.
