Does anyone know where the AC drain hose is because ever since I've had my car, (2,000 miles) there's never been any water running out from under it after I use the air conditioner which is everyday in 100 degree heat.
I've noticed the same thing. I think I heard they designed it to drip on something hot under the car. Seems to evaporate before hitting the ground. Weird as car AC usually put out a lot of water.

A pic sure would help!
Thanks
Looks like it is next to the starter on the firewall..
Normally it drips on the exhaust, so you would still hear it sizzle even if it never made it to the floor.
The amount of water depends not so much on the outside temperature, but how much humidity is in the air..
When I had my 2014 Stingray I would hear the “sizzling” sound whenever I pulled it into the garage and never noticed any stains on the floor. Now with my 2017 GS I never hear the sizzling and have noticed a white stain that goes from under the car to the drain in the garage. By the way, this stain is very difficult to remove. Could they have forgotten to install a drain tube that drains on the exhaust?

Tons of humidity here in central Fl. Thank you for the schematic!
I don't get any water or Sizzle or anything from under my car after driving 50 miles with the air conditioner on.
Kind of worried about the condenser (?) filling up with water and overflowing under the floor which is happened before and another Corvette I had a 2008 ZO6.

I think on my C5 they had a design with a flapper so that incoming air at speed would not blow the water back into the condenser and they did stop up. Now they have a tube but might clog up easier, or if tube is missing it could be air pressure around the engine could be keeping it from draining. No water at all, is not good.

Has anyone come-up with an solution or answer as to why some cars have absolutely no condensation under the car or dripping on the exhaust? I ask because my car is one of them. The drain on my 2016 C7 is in the very corner of the engine compartment back against the right front bumper where it meets the door. An odd looking tube just over an inch in diameter with a flap on the end. I've even poked something up there to see if there was any moisture and found nothing. Never have had any water on the floor of the car. This is the second summer this way.

That sounds like the drain from the area in front of the windshield, not the AC.

Thank you very much for that. That was information from a Chevy dealership mechanic. Guess I need to back-up and take another look so I can make sure it's not clogged.

This link is for a C5, but the cowl drain udders look like the photos in this link..
Note how the ends are closed so air does not keep water from draining.

Those look like the ones that I was originally told were the drains although without getting under the car, I can see only one on the passenger side tucked up in the corner where the fender meets the door.
Its difficult for me to have a dealer do any work on my car but age and the fact that I'm still on warranty have changed my mind on this one. It goes into the dealer next week for the mechanic to poke around on. If any hoses disconnect, it will be his job to fix it.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
