I've been using a toro electric blower, but picked up a 40v cordless blower from lowes. The kobolt series blower and tried it out the other day and it worked great! Super light!

Not true with the ego cordless blower. It pushes 530CFM. Its the Tesla of blowers.
sold through home depot.

I use the detachable blower on my Home Depot Wet/Dry vac. I t works great, small, powerful, and not cumbersome. I use it on my C7 and the midyears I own. It's a great Wet/Dry vac for vacuuming the cars and also drying them off after washing them. It serves two purposes.

1. You don't touch the car.
MasterBlaster PROS
1. HOT air dries fast. 2280 watts
2. Very strong air stream. 400 CFM
3. Long 30' hose means you don't have to lift a heavy blower.
4. Gets in the crevices.
5. Heavy duty all steel, American made. 8 HP
CONS
1. Expensive.
2. Draws 19 amps for 2 motors.
3. Hose can be awkward to use.

Seems to me a 'heated air' blower such as the master blaster or McKee's would work a hell of a lot better than a standard leaf blower.

I start with foam sprayer and cover the car,
wash,
rinse,
use a silicone squeegee to remove the bulk of water, and
finish up with a Master Blaster. Finally, after 60 years of washing cars, I have a system that works.
This system yields no marks in the paint. I use Meguiar's Show Car Glaze to give a clean surface for waxing but would not need to for the surface appearance.
I have a long hose on the unit and have it wall mounted in an adjacent utility room with a hose hole in the wall. I wash inside so even an electric leaf blower would be cumbersome.

Burning Brakes
I have been using a leaf blower on vehicles since the late 80's. It was a trick I learned when washing my motorcycles. Talk abut nooks, crannies and difficult spots to get to, Corvettes are easy compared to two wheelers.
