Anyone know what term Poverty Splitter for early 2017 GS refers to. I am told mine is called this by forum members it was first day of production car for gs'
It's the Stage 1 base splitter. It's made from plastic and cost around $100 or less, which is considerably less than the Stage 2/3 splitter, hence, the term "poverty." The same splitter is also included on the Z06...
It has nothing to do with production date... if I understand your question correctly.
"$100 or less" is a thing of the past, but they're still the least expensive splitter you can buy.
Ten second search shows them going as low as $108 new, $123 w/free shipping. Wow, I was way off... If you search further you might be able to pick one up for "$100 or less."
A friend of mine purchased one for his Stingray for $95 new, including tax, last month. I guess that was "of the past."

Your talking about splitter stage 2, side skirts full length , and rear spoiler stage 2 all in carbon flash.I have stage 2

Just sold my GS splitter, $50, one week old, saw them at that price used, keep looking, shipping is expensive so buy local
much confusion, iI thought I had splitter 2 on my gs. I wanted to buy metal protector plates from protek. I sent them many pictures and Mitchtheowner says mine is #1 and there parts do not fit. He quoted forum betters thqat call it poverty splitter.I dont know what I have now. Help!

I have stage 2 . My pics are pretty clear what they look like.
Anyone know what the stage 2 splitter costs. Dealer has an AW C7 GS with it and it looks great. It doesn't look any lower than the stage 1 but stage one is probably more forgiving.
