I ordered Black Rose and was told the color is discontinued. Is this true? Why do you think its still on the web site when you build a car? very confusing
Yes Black Rose was discontinued and will not be available going forward. Strange that it is still showing up on the website as a color choice. You may be able to find existing stock on dealer's lots, but that is the only option now to get that color.
I agree - if it's not available, a disclaimer either needs to be made on the page or the color selection (alongside the codes that come with it) should be removed from their database on the server. Chevy can update the page(s) on their own accord, but it becomes more mandatory when it's in possible detriment to the customer.
The only way you're going to find one is in a dealer's inventory. Your profile doesn't tell where you live but there's a dealer in Estero, Florida, Estero Bay Chevrolet, which has a number of Black Rose Vettes in inventory. If you're that intent on the color, it might pay to take a look at their website.

The 2018 Corvette brochure shows the Black Rose as available...............................
"The planned build out of Black Rose Metallic comes the week before the Bowling Green Assembly Plant shuts down for three months for upgrades. When 2018 Corvette production resumes on November 1st, we are not expecting this color to be replaced.
As of April 4th, production of Black Rose Metallic was limited to 528 Stingrays, 284 Grand Sports and 313 Corvette Z06s for 1,125 total."
As previous poster said they will show them as long as dealers have in stock.
