Yes, that is possible. First put in your final destination and start guidance. Then enter another destination. It will ask you if you want to replace your original or add as a waypoint. Add as a waypoint. Continue this process. Make sure you enter your waypoints in the order of closest to farthest.

According to the 2017 Infotainment manual (pg. 72 Navigation):

If a waypoint is added, it is placed in the location that leads to the most efficient route.

If true, the order you add them may not be preserved unless the order you enter them is also the most efficient route - which might not always be true.

Thanks everyone ... got it done... but the navigation system was not very cooperative :-). my first waypoint address was 852 ny-52, fishkill NY ... navigation rejected it ( waze is happy with it .. even better, the name of the diner was enough for it) .. so I settled for the intersection of I-85 & rt 52 .... next I wanted intersections of other interstates along the route to carlisle pa .. all failed ...as a fallback, I put the interstate # along with the name of a town along the route .. and it accepted it ... so I have something that will work for us .. and in the end, that was is important.

Probably rejected because GM doesn't update the database often enough and also restricts info in certain areas for some odd ball reason or other.

The factory Nav systems work fine other than for this odd ball way of handling the database. Sometimes it takes 7 or 8 years for a road or area to be added to the database.
