Scrape Armour
I installed the Scrape Armor Protection Panels today. It was pretty simple. I paid twice what you can get the cheaper ones for but I didn't like the slight gaps the pictures showed in the cheaper ones. The tube of gasket material they provide in this kit takes care of that problem. The fit was perfect.

Looks great. I have scraped my brand new, less that 1 week old, Grand Sport's Stage 3 carbon fiber spoiler = cost $1907 plus installation. Yep, I changed it as the car had less than 150 miles.
I have since added the Protektor brand scrape protector!!!!

Background: I added carbon fiber side skirts and splitter to my 2014 Z51. Scraped the bottom edge of the splitter several times and it looked a bit ragged. Unlike the air dams that some sand paper cleans up scrapes, doesn't fix the issue with the splitter so invested in the Scrape Armor for my new Grand Sport Like that it had some redges and spaces so it slide better.
Several weeks ago went into a parking lot that had a steep entrance. Went in very slowly at an angle and heard some modest noise and still believe it was the side air dams on my Grand Sport.
When leaving I had no choice and couldn't really back out into the street! So went down slowly at and angle and heard scraping. When I got home the Scrape Armor was scraped but the carbon fiber splitter on my optional areo package was fine!
Pic below of what I found.
This is a PDF of my install for those interested: http://netwelding.com/Splitter_Protectors.pdf
Scrapes on Scrape Armor but carbon fiber splitter is fine!

Does it require new (additional) holes to be drilled into the spoiler?

Just to set the record straight its a splitter in the front. A spoiler is on the rear.
My post #3 had a Link to a 10 page PDF that has lots of pictures of my install you can see where the few holes needed are added. Most use the exiting bolts.
