Just received my 64G card from Staples. It was supposed to be formatted in FAT 32 but was in exFAT 32 and would not work. Tried to follow directions posted on StingRay Forum using Partition Manager but it now costs $31. After an hour or so of searching the net I found HPUSBDisk. Takes about 5 seconds to download and about the same to run on your disk. The program does not mention partitions but it formats in FAT32 and my PDR works and reads 1530 minutes recording time left. (1530 is approximate). Hopefully you won't waste as much time as I did.
You say that the program doesn't mention partitions, but I'm pretty sure there are 4 GB partitions that will limit you to about a 1 hour-40 minutes of continuous recording time.
And at the end of that time it just stops recording and doesn't give you any kind of notice.
100 minutes is a fairly long steady drive, but if you do plan to drive steady for longer than that, set an alarm to remind you to simply stop the recording before that 100 minutes and just restart recording and you'll only have a short gap between the two files.
That's what I used and it's a really easy and straightforward program. The only issue I had was that my laptop had a problem recognizing my SD card. I had to use windows to format to EXFAT than this program to convert to FAT32.
