Beautiful color. Will probably get my C8 Vert in Sebring Orange, with racing stripes and matching calipers + Comp seats. and {gasp} Auto.

It's not bad but no way I can drive an Orange car with 2 brothers in law that are Clemson graduates and me as a UNC grad.
I will be very interested in seeing how it comes out of the new paint shop at BG.

Hugger Orange was an awesome color! It was Hugger Orange on the Camaro, and Monaco Orange on the Chevelle, Elcamino and I believe even the 'Vette. It was the same color with 2 different names. I believe the 69 Chevy Camaro Pace Car was white with Hugger Orange stripes.
I really like that new orange! The metal flake will give it a nice shine. About time they came out with something different! I hope they continue to come out with some stand out colors. I loved all the 60's colors, mostly the Dodge/Chrysler ones: Plum Crazy Purple/In Violet, Sublime Green/Lime Light Green, Panther Pink/Moulin Rouge, Hemi Orange/Tor Red, Top Banana/Lemon Twist, Green Go/Sassy Grass Green, B5 Blue
Even today Dodge has some cool colors. Dodge: Furious Fuschia, Detonator Yellow, Toxic Orange, Top Banana, GoManGo, Plum Crazy, B5 Blue, Copperhead, Sublime.
I'm glad Chevy didn't put any metal flake in the black like Dodge/Chrysler did though. I did not like that at all. I would like to see a dark purple, darker than the black rose now...would be very cool!

I for one am glad it is metallic... the first pic was far too "Traffic Cone Orange" for me.
But I do agree with the common sentiment... GM needs to STOP letting the Cadillac folks choose the Corvette's currently-boring color palette. Bring on the brighter shades!

I remember articles mentioning Black Rose Metallic would eventually have a replacement color...looks like Sebring Orange seems to be it. Pretty cool Looks a bit lighter and brighter than its Dayton Sunrise counterpart from a few years back. Both are great colors and I can't wait until it arrives in the dealerships!

I like it....maybe my big-wing ZR1 can get that color!

I guess I'll keep an open mind. I do like the color, but I've always preferred non-metallic paints except on various shades of silver/gray. On a bright color, the color speaks for itself, and I just don't care for the metal flake look.
I'm not trying to be critical, as I know I'm in the minority, with the majority preferring metallic these days. I was just hoping . . .

If it's close to this F-Type, which was also a metallic, I may go for it. I came within a hair of buying my F-Type convertible in this color (Firesand Orange), but went w/ the non-metallic Polar White instead. This metallic didn't have terribly prominent metal flake in natural light, so I'll have to see the Sebring Orange in person.

Oh well, so much for my theory that there won't be any additional new colors introduced while the new paint shop is being brought on line.

I had a feeling they were going to have orange again. I love this color! It defiantly has metallic in it. The grand sport admiral blue is my favorite but this might take over depending on if it looks good. I think it will look great with the black heritage package with black rims!

Thank you for your pic. This is the first time I have seen an Inferno Vette.
I see Camaro's this color but not a C6. I agree with your difference in color.

Definitely has some metallic flake in it.
I love it. Can't wait to see it on a Z06.

Great news on another orange!
Get it while you can before GM drops it like a hot potato like all previous oranges.
