So I I got the opportunity to try waze for the first time in the C7.

I use waze all the time as a standalone navigation in my daily driver and normally run Google maps through AA when I'm in the C7.

So basically waze works fine eon my phone and AA works fine in the C7.

Today I tried waze through AA for the first time and when you select waze from the dash screen, waze opens and the menus run the th email remains stuck on the place you were at the moment waze was opened. So basically it's not running, anyone else getting this and what's the fix?

I used it yesterday and it worked great. Sorry I can't help. Maybe reboot the phone.

I believe there are still some minor glitches within Waze running thru Android Auto. For example, when I opened Waze (thru Android Auto) a few days ago, the map image was frozen despite the fact I was moving. As soon as I entered a destination, it began to track correctly. I then cancelled the destination to see what would happen. Waze continued to track (as it should) in my direction of travel. So the good news is that we now have Waze available in Android Auto. The better news is that the reliability of the application should only get better as bugs are discovered, reported and resolved over time.

Some features of Waze aren't running. The speed limit on your current route and the speed warning system.
I'm running thru Android Auto and it only froze once.
Running it in parallel with Pandora works perfectly.

But WAZE is one massive data hog.

Apple needs to offer Waze through Car Play like yesterday.
