Tire Upgrade on Stock Z51 Wheels
Who has upgraded their stock Z51 (19"/20") or non-z51 (18"/19")?
Would the stock z51 wheels hold 265/35/19 up front with 295/40/20 in the rear?
If not, that's fine, what did yall upgrade/change to on stock or aftermarket wheels?

I think people just get tired of seeing the same discussions over and over. There are walls of words on this topic, and the vast majority believe the best overall tire and wheel size combination is OEM for each particular model of C7, and that you'd be considering a downgrade.
The only exception would be upgrading base car MY '14-'17 18/19" wheels to the 19/20 Z51 sizes, which have now become standard on 2018 base cars.

Melting Slicks
When I need to replace mine ( 17 Z51),I will buy these Vreds.
Had them( another model) on my C5Z and they were great for a DD.Great dry & wet grip.
According to this chart, they don't have every size for every C7 fitment, but they are great tires and are priced reasonably.

I have tried on so many different tires over the last 4-5 years. Michelin A/S 3, Continental DWS, BF Goodrich Comp 2 A/S, Goodyears, Bridgestone, Falken, Pirelli PZero, Nitto Invo
The brands i have not tried include Vred, Firestone, Dunlop, Yokohama and hankook.
I hope im not missing out lol.
Out of all the tires i have tried, the Continental DWS Extreme have been the best by far! No road noise, great grip and handling in wet/dry.
The Michelins and BF Goodrich were a little too noisy for me.

For the past few years i have been hearing great things about the vreds. The problem is, only a handful of people who tried them said great things.

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being high road noise, The Michelins are a solid 6. I had the A/3s on my mustang and the road noise was again a 6 or 7 on highway. Couldn't hear it on inner roads. But obviously once you reach a certain speed, the tires start to show their true self.
The Continental DWS are close to 2. Extremely low road noise.
I have not tried the DW (summer ones). But the DWS were simply amazing. I don't know why they are ranked 3rd on Tirerack behind Michelin and BF Goodrich, they should be number 1.

Burning Brakes
A little wider won't hurt but increasing the aspect ratio will throw off your gearing and speedo
And the Michelins win pretty much every tire comparison

So, you're looking to downgrade performance and upgrade comfort?

Not quite. Looking for increased traction to hold all that torque is not me wanting to have a tons of comfort.
Although a little less road noise would be epic.
So i do want a nice balance. Im very much considering ordering a set of DWS 06 Extremes.

The Pilot SPorts are crap? Lol can I have some of your drugs, because you are obviously high. While they do have some quirks, (yes they are loud, no they don't really like cooler temps), they are a great max summer tire.
