New GS
Just purchased this '17 GS a couple of weeks ago. It's my first (new) Vette. I've owned several BMW, Porsche, Audi, and Benz models in the past, and I'm really liking the feeling of this car versus those so far. I sadly needed to (essentially) trade my C1 for this, but I plan to use it far more than I used the C1. It's a 1LT 7-speed, which is exactly what I wanted. The only things it had that I didn't want are the Heritage Package (worthless) and the Carbon painted mirrors, but I worked a great deal on the car.
The only thing I've done so far is to add black lugs. I may remove the fender stripes, and I may change to Carbon badging, though I'm sort of digging the chrome badging now. Other than that. I'm just gonna drive the wheels off it. Here it is in the Green Vehicle spot at work.

Would love to see a Pic of the C1 which you traded. Nice C7 GS, enjoy.

Not a fan of the new GS stripes, but I think your color combo works great and I would probably leave them on. Very sharp looking color combo, especially with the carbon flash mirrors and rear spoiler and black wheels.

Congrats on the new ride. I too am not a fan of the stripes on the GS. However, yours is the first I've seen with black stripes on WG Gray. I like it, a lot. It's your car, but you might want to leave them on and see if they grow on you. I'm not a fan of black wheels, but the whole ensemble on your car looks great just the way it is.

Congrats on your new GS, great color combination.
I too questioned the black Heritage hash marks on my Watkins Gray GS, but now after two months, I love the subtle look. Give it some time and you may warm up to it.
