Shop Manual Help

Trying to locate a rattle in my 16 Coupe.

Looking to remove the knee bolster, the panel below the steering wheel assembly.

Would appreciate someone with a shop manual letting me know how to remove the knee bolster.

Not my video but take a look starting at 2:00

Hopefully someone can give you more detailed instructions.

Thanks. Hoping I can get the bolster out without taking apart the entire upper dash.

Looks like you need to remove the trim pieces on each side, (the console and door opening trim), then it is straight forward. There should be only 3 screws, plus some clips that snap into the dash.

You may have to lift the console plate around the shifter to get the bolster to clear it in the upper left corner, next to the AC.
NOTE: The door trim and side trim on the console are held on just with push in clips, so you just need a trim tool and some pull with your fingers to remove them.

In the video, it says there are 3 clips on each side.
