Default Extended Warranty News

Well September is here and as many of you know warranty prices increase on 10-1 every year and that is the case this year also so we are still offering our great price savings thru September 30, 2017! I just had the best August for warranties in the stores history so I have convinced Management to still discount prices to my customers.

We sincerely appreciate all of our Corvette Forum customers that we have had the pleasure to serve since the founding of the Forum! Thousands have saved a ton of money on protection plans and Corvettes! Thanks!!

Beat the price increase AND take advantage of our sale. We are offering the Protection Plan from GM on any make & model and the plan prices are just over our dealer cost, AND we are taking an additional $200 off our everyday low prices thru 9/30/17. Management wanted to low the discount but I convinced them to hold tight thru September and then they can change on 10-1 if they want.

Remember it doesn't have to be a Corvette, we can do them on all vehicles including Fords, Mercedes, Hyundai, Lexus, etc.

To qualify:

You can reside in any state! The plan is available in every state.

Your vehicle must be a 2007 or newer model with less than 120,000 miles on the odometer!

AND there is no no sales tax and also no additional fee for accepting a credit card!

I am still in business! I’m confident that you know the names of Ken and Dennis Fichtner for their expertise in the Corvette Forum for many years.

We promise great service and the lowest prices.

Matching and beating other offers is our goal!

If a car was a rental vehicle, do they still qualify for purchasing an extended warranty? Any other limitations besides age and miles, other than the obvious mods?

Thank you, but have not gotten one yet. In the market and extended warranty availability will likely play into the decision when I do buy. Time frame to buy is 6 to 12 months.

Dennis,

Is the Chevy Protection Plan and GMEPP the same thing? Do they still offer 84 month, 56,000 mile (or something plans)? Are they still from the date of purchase? And do you have to get them before the Warranty runs out?

My car is two years old April 4th, and so next summer I'm looking to get a plan, but they keep changing names!

The GMEPP and the Chevrolet Protection Plan are one and the same. They are trying to get away from GMEPP due to the confusion with GMPP which is no longer. They badge it as Chevrolet Protection Plan, Buick Protection Plan, Cadillac Protection Plan and GMC Protection Plan. If you buy the plan for a non GM brand it is called My Auto Protection plan and offers the same plan as the GM brand plan.

Yes they offer an 84/56 plan in both $0 and $100 deductibles. You need to get it before your warranty ends because at 36 months and 1 day it is considered a used car and the rates in most cases double and in some cases it triples. Also the same is true if you hit 36,001 miles.

Everyone remember GMEPP is going up on 10-1-17 so if you want to save some money consider purchasing the plan in September.

Thanks for the info! Looks like I'll be contacting you next summer to get mine before my warranty expires in 2019!

So a 2016 with 8,500 miles need not apply for any extended warranty??

Default Reminder

Just a friendly reminder, warranty prices are changing on 10/1/17 so if you haven't gotten a quote already send me your VIN, exact miles and date of purchase if bought used to dfichtner@dennymenholt.com. These plans carry a 1 months AND 1,000 mile lag period so if your warranty is up in October or even November you should start thinking about the warranty now plus save money.

I purchased that plan for mine just shy of three years.
