I've been to a few car shows, and noticed that some cars have poster boards made that show the details of the car. I'd like to make one for my car. Can anyone post an example of what theirs looks like?
Yeah, most of the shows I have been going to have been classic cars. Frankly, I don't have a shot at winning anything, but I still enjoy seeing all the other cars and trucks.
I'm just looking to get a little extra edge where possible.

I show my car a couple of times every summer just to hang out with other Vette guys and see some really nice cars. As my car is pretty much bone-stock, I don't expect to win anything.
The last show I attended, I was parked next to a beautiful split-window '63 coupe. My Vette is a Laguna Blue 2016 C7 Z51. For every 1 person that really looked at it, 20 people looked at the split window. I didn't care, in fact I expected it and was sort of honored to be parked right next to such a legend.

Get to shows occasionally, I always like to check out the other cars. The Corvettes always draw a bit of attention. It is aways nice to hear feedback from those who like what you have done to your ride..
I show both. It's something my wife and I enjoy doing together as a summer hobby. I don't mind the boards, but the one request I have of people parked around my cars with boards is to make sure they are properly secured. On several occasions I've seen them take flight with the right amount of wind. Not cool when they land on your car.
That's a good point about making sure the board doesn't take flight. I'm printing out the design on a 24"x36" sheet of paper, and will put it in a poster frame and on a stand on the ground. It would take a good gust of wind to lift that.
Most of the shows around here are not specific to corvettes. I like the corvette shows, but I also really love seeing all the old hot rods and classics. You never know what will win. Heck, last weekend I sat a stock (but clean) 2008 beetle place in top 12. lol
Sorry, don't have a "show-board", but yes, and as noted above, it's fun; especially when you can get a pic with your car's 60 year age difference, sibling!!

I have a '14 torch red Z51 7MT 1lt convertible with under 11K; I've added exhaust, D-shaped factory wheel, Z06 grill, CAI, floor mats/trunk mat and even a little Z51 decal on the steering wheel. Black wheels and calipers as well. I keep her clean and I'm proud to own her BUT I do not think it rises to the level of a show car. To me a show car shows more unique inputs, additions and mods that SEPARATE a car from more mundane units.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very pleased and lucky to have her but I don't think she is that unique to deserve a car show spot light.....
I would make a sign to enjoy the experience as opposed to getting an edge to winning. Most car shows are really cleaning contests and not to be taken seriously as to the merits of your car. Just go there to show your car, see other cars, and chat with other Corvette enthusiasts, have fun and forget about winning-unless you really are into the art of detailing.
I go to shows strictly to show my car, see other vettes and bs about vettes.

Had to laugh when I saw your post I have a 2014 with the Z51 option and a 2010 Camero SS, both cars are a blast to drive
I've been to a few informal shows with my C7 and a couple with a previous sports car. These have been the ballot type of shows, not a juried show. I put a lot of work into prepping, so I might like a juried show a little better. Basically the ones I have been to amount to a lot of sitting around. Nice to chat a little, but it does make for a long day. In the end the grand award always went to the nicest classic, while the generation award went to the most expensive version. But fun to window shop!
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
