I detail my car every day. I use Duragloss 952 Aquawax - 1 Gallon, or Wolfgang WG-3700 Uber Rinse less Wash mixed up as a detailer. I use both because it is really a toss up. I have experimented with dozens of others and these are by far the best detailers for me.
But....I do this every day and don't need a real wax or one of the Cquartz type sealers. If you aren't the type to do daily cleaning I would try something like Cquartz, or one of those types. But with what I do my car looks wet, slick and blinding shinny.
It takes me about 10 minutes to detail the paint and wheels. I don't get any rain here in AZ so it's fairly easy to take care of a car around here.
But there are so many good products out there these days if you get one you like and are consistent with it you are good to go.

If you are using Pinnacle Carnauba you already have one of the best products on the market. It has an amazing shine but absolutely no cleaning properties at all. I use it over Duragloss TPP #105. The results are incredible. As stated above though, prep is most important.
I am going to try Adams Brillant Glaze and layer it with Americana wax and see what the results are! Thanks for your advice.

I know you're joking but I use the stuff, have for decades, and on some high end paint even. I couldn't tell you how well it protects or lasts, but it goes on and comes off easily and lacks (serious) abrasives.
I personally think the "Brand Q" high-end waxes are a bit of snake oil, and you should either go ceramic or just pick a low-abrasive hard wax (which NuFinish isn't, but I'm lazy and park inside anyway).
I don't wash my car, just dust and spray-wax between waxings, so it gets quite a few coats of this spray wax detailer.

Probably all sacrilege to the Vette crowd, and bad advice on a black car, but it works on my TR!

I don't think the color of the car matters to the wax or vice versa.
When I had my yellow Z, I used Meguires back then. #26
Now I use P21S, which has more carnauba in it. Not sure I like it any better.

If I wasn't going with a ceramic coating on my C7 I would probably still use Zaino. I like how easy it is to buff off and that you can do it in the sun and it'll still come off easy. I also like that it doesn't leave a lot of dust behind and that the protection lasts a very long time too. If only it protected the paint against etching from acid rain and bird bombs, but it won't. That's where the ceramic coatings prove the worth of their extra cost.
It kind of does though. Ask a high end detailer what product he likes to use and he'll probably show you a lot of different stuff and he'll tell you he likes to use one product for black, another for light colors and another for metallics.

For swirls, scratches, etc...
I use Megs 205 by machine, just love it!. Wax is a different story, I keep trying all of them to find my favorite, still, have not found a true favorite.
I do love Duragolss aqua wax mixed with their detailer in between waxing too

After trying many I have settled on either Rejex or Four Star UPP; both leave a very slick, protective, high gloss finish.
Just last week I stayed at a Hotel in LA and came out the next morning to find the entire C7 covered in hard water spots from the sprinklers. I had to drive home 6 hours while the spots were baked in by the sun. I expected the worst but the 2 coats of UPP I had on the paint did it's job and the water spots washed right off.

Blackfire products are awesome.. I have used these on my VY Corvette as well as pinnacle products. I have tried different ones just to try them out but I always clay bar my Vette first. The Collinite insulator 845 wax works great too. I love detailing my car so that's why I am still purchasing various products and trying them out on my Corvette.

I personally got tired of dealing with traditional claybar, but when I got the new GS, I decided to give Mothers Speed Clay a try, and was very happy with the results and found it much easier and quicker to use with what felt like similar results. Should be easy to find locally, too. I'd recommend giving it a look:
