C7 Transparent top
Hi, I'm looking to find the best price for a C7 transparent top. I have a 2016 Stingray Z51 3LT. I would love to get one of the see thru tops but can't part with the $1800. I may wait until the price drops or soemone runs a special on these.

I ordered one through a vendor sponsor when they had their labor day sale for $1500 delivered. Their price was already good and the sale made it even better just keep watching for another sale.

I hope I don't end up regretting the fact that I didn't order the transparent roof on my C7. I have it on my C6 and had it on my C5 and like it a lot but wanted to keep costs down on the order, and figured if I change my mind later I can always pick one up. But hearing the price after the fact makes me do this: 
I used to see clear C5 and C6 roofs for sale around here from time to time for roughly $500 to $700, but I think there was a higher number of people ordering dual roofs on the C5/C6 so that made the supply of clear roofs more plentiful for those generations.

If I had done anything it would have been to simply go with the transparent option instead of dual roofs. But in the interest of cost savings on my order I figured that the roof will be off a lot during the summer anyhow, so going with the body color roof saved me over $1000.
