Hmm, perhaps something wrong with yours. Try one at a dealer showroom or a friends and compare. Mine is fine. It's not moving anything but an electrical signal sender. Only signals go to the ECM!
If yours is stiffer easy enough for the dealer to replace, one bolt and an electrical connection.

well dont have trouble mashing gas pedal i did notice this gas pedal is mounted on floor my other car and truck is not mounted that way so when i drive them i use my toes guess that is the reason for it feeling different
