Has any one figured out how to have the contact photo show on the car's screen when receiving a call from the contact? All I get is a blank generic outline of a head shot.

When I get a phone call, my 2014 Stingray shows the photo of the person I have in my iPhone Contacts app. (iPhone 7+, not sure if it is dependent on any particular version of iPhone)

Suggested course of action:
1) Make sure your iPhone has the latest iOS version/update installed.
2) Delete the Bluetooth pairing from both the iPhone and the car.
3) Re-pair the iPhone to the car.

My 14 shows the picture of the person calling as well. iPhone 7.

Only if you have the contact information on your phone saved with the picture of the caller.
It can only show what the phone has saved on it.

I have pictures in my phone associated with contacts. Wonder if something changed with the 2016 model? I will try repairing as suggested by Kent1999. Do you have to be connected through Car Play or is Bluetooth enough?

I have a 17 GS 3lt, I do not receive the photo while connected via Bluetooth, have not tried connecting via CarPlay, could that be the trick?

The 14's work through Bluetooth. We don't have Apple CarPlay.

I had a 2014 Stingray and an iphone 5 with contacts with photos. I never received a call that displayed a picture as well. Maybe there is a setting somewhere that I had wrong.

Could be that the older iPhones didn't support the transfer of the associated images (older version of bluetooth, perhaps?)

Seems like everyone that has a iPhone 7 gets the pictures, and people with iPhone 5 do not.
So far, no data as to the compatibility of the iPhone 6 as far as in-car image display.

iPhone 7 and 2017 GS. No photos, BT or CarPlay.

Very odd. Carplay has nothing to do with it... this is all through BT.

Are you on the latest iOS version? 11, or at least 10.3.4?

Works for the contacts for which I have photos on my Samsung. 2016 Stingray using Android Auto.

I tried Kent's method but I guess I have to wait until the contacts are downloaded to the vehicle. When I went into the settings on my iPhone 7 it only gave me "disconnect" or "forget this device". I'm assuming the options for sync contacts will pop up eventually.

Also make sure that on your phone, you have Settings/Bluetooth/MyLink set to “Sync Contacts”
