Beautiful cars all, though I prefer income-producing assets.

If my Corvette were parked next to those exotics, I'd be asking myself "I wonder how much free cash flow a $250k-$400k car throws off every year?"

It's all relative as every budget is different. Comparing your car to an exotic and discussing cash flow may be no different than someone parking a Chevrolet Cruze next to yours and saying the same thing about how much money you have wasted. Granted, a Corvette is a nice car but I don't think anyone would select a C7 over any number of exotic cars if they had the budget to pick whatever they wanted.

I did. Instead of owning two or three exotics, I have an extra $97k coming in every year.

Perhaps some day I'll consider that insignificant. I'm not there yet.

Well I think the Mclaren's are nice as are the Ferrari's but lets face it, compared to a Corvette none of them offer even close to the bang for your buck and service costs are absurd. The snobs bitch that it's a Chevy but that's the beauty of it. It's a "peasant"that can joust with the "Royalities" If you don't think any of those companies wonder how GM does it and sells them so cheap you're in lala land.

^^ That's because the Ferrari and Lambo are ten years old, so that trend hadn't started yet. Most new exotics come with black wheels now. Most Lamborghini Huracans that I see in my area have black wheels on them. And it's hard to tell from the picture but it looks like the McLaren does have black wheels. I know I see more McLarens here with black wheels than any other color.

Not true, black wheels are optional just like on the Corvette.

I didn't say they were standard, just that most of the ones I see have black wheels these days, which means that's the way people are ordering them.

Component failures can really ruin the ownership experience.

Corvettes validation process gives it the win in my opinion.

Performance and looks as well

What a great group of pics!

The C7 looks right at home next to those super cars which speaks volumes about it's design.

Thanks for sharing

You might not want to claim the 1/3rd repairs. Mine has been the worst car I've ever owned.

The C7 looks like it belongs in that group. It doesn't look out of place at all.

Notice how many of the current exotics have black wheels.

They're actually polished or chrome wheels with a lot of brake dust that makes 'em look black.

Could easily buy the 360 or Gallardo for 70k, used

Funny, I can't imagine why new Ferrari and Lamborghini owners and other cars, as well as their manufacturers ads, don't extol the source of their "magnetic" shocks - developed and patented by GM Delco. Must be that although they use the shocks, and the reviewers talk about how great they are, it must be a bit too painful to say, "when you buy our $3-400k car, you will of course get the "Corvette shocks".

Recently had a Ferrari owner examine my 2016 Z06 and say, "wish my car was put together as well as your car".

I recall a couple of years ago a Ferrari owner talking to us about he just ordered a C7 like mine. We asked him how much an oil change costs on his Ferrari ? He said, just under $3,000.00. My buddy chimed in and said, "Fortynine ninety nine is gonna sound real good to you!" By the way this car show is sponsored by the Ferrari Club of Naples, Florida. So when I hear how people that don't follow cars aren't aware of how black wheels are the "in thing". Really???
