I was looking at a used C7 yellow corvette with the kalahari interior.
However, they have the 3LT vs the 2LT like I wanted. I feel they put too much of the kalahari on the dash and doors.
If I were to buy or swap these panels with another car, how hard would that be and would I be prone to rattles? Rattles would drive me insane and would rather deal with more color that tracking down every rattle I hear.
I pulled both of my doors apart and never had a rattle from it. I didn’t do the dash, but I wouldn’t have hesitated to if it was on my project list. These cars are designed to be able to be pulled apart and put back together.
The 1LT is not a viable option if he likes Kalahari. No kalahari on 1LT, not to mention the things the 2LT package gets you. I'd be happy to swap my 2LT kalahari door panels for his 3LT if he were near me. I just added a Kalahari dash hood to my 2LT last week. Will probably add the Kalahari dash panel above the glove box next. Before and after pics...

I actually like the way yours is done. My 3LT dash is all Kalahari, no black at all. It can look a little overpowering. When I was looking at used cars I saw 3LT cars with both configurations, I have not been able to figure out how it was determined.
You could probably save about 3k if you wait for a 1LT.Unless your getting the 3lt for a good price?Have you priced NEW 1 LT? They are a savings
I want the 2LT features. But I agree the 1LT are cheaper, but not by too much. A couple thousand.

I agree its a little over powering. That is why I am asking. I like the 2LT design. The 3LT in red is what I was hoping for. But I could go less.

I think what you were seeing is the 2014 & 2015 3lt interiors had the entire dash in Kalahari and from 2016 on the 3lt dash just had the Kalahari on the dash hood and the dash pad. The doors have different amounts of Kalahari on those model years too.

That explains what I was seeing. My car is a 2015 and it also has more Kalahari on the door panels.
