And, we're not using normal ear plugs that completely block all sound.
These are specific made earplugs that Subdue only the majority of Constant noise like wind, tire, road, and Traffic noise while still being able to carry on a conversation with someone, or listen to music.
YMMV but it's not all or nothing
take the winter lug tires off, it will be much quieter

I wear some silicone custom ones all the time. The police don't pay one bit of attention.

You got a radio in your Cobra?

P.S. I just sold my Backdraft after 12 years, my ears thank me.

On hwy trips in my C7 I use over-the-ear headphones [legal in Texas] plugged into a portable radio with CD player. Anyone ever heard of a replacement dash radio with CD player and Headphone jack? Thanks much. EddieA

Ones that fit inside your ears and don't get displaced by your helmet. Howard Leight, Hero, and 3M are some of the brands available. Take a look at this webpage - https://www.coopersafety.com/earplugs-noise-reduction.
I tend to use NRR 30DB or higher plugs. Trying to save what little hearing I have left!

Not trying to be difficult, just stating the obvious.
FWIW, my 17 C7 Stingray noise level on the freeway at 70 mph was 85dB before installing sound deadening mats, and reduced to 82-83 dB afterwards, as measured with the iPhone app Decibel X Pro.. Safe noise level for 8 hours is 85dB

SOP for bikes, if one cares about long-term hearing. Certainly adding more and louder "noise" makes no sense in that regard.

I wonder about some sort of noise cancelling options. Andy Green says that it thoroughly transforms driving the Bloodhound rocket car at Mach 1+ speeds, so couldn't hurt in a C7.

Back in my days before my Streetglide with a fairing and awesome aftermarket stereo I used to use Shure noise canceling earbuds. Block out all the wind noise and the music sounds amazing through them. I have never used or thought about using them in any kinds of cars, def not the C7. Had cars much louder and never needed any. Maybe if you need plugs in a car its time for a Lexus, Mercedes or something more fitting than a Corvette.

I always love to use hearing protection while riding a motorcycle to avoid the unwanted wind noise. I am very aware to protect my hearing to use custom earplugs.

I think earplugs will keep your ears safe from hearing damage. So we should use earplugs to protect our hearing.

I bought the HD ones. Pack of 3 and bought 2 packs so have 3 sets.

They have a hollow cylinder in the center of the earplug to let some sound in but still block out anything too loud.
Also come with 2 "different" center pieces for more or less sound.
Used by Musicians and Motorcyclists etc

I've used them a few times on long trips.
Thanks, I just bought a set of these for Mr.owc6 to wear whilst bagpiping.
