Zaino Z-16 the best I've ever used.....leaves tires with a beautiful satin/natural finish that is not greasy, does not sling, and lasts!

Adams VRT. No cheap dealership-shine look and no garbage slinging off the tires onto the body. Goes on clean and evenly

Interesting read.

I agree, I use comet or ajax a stiff tire brush and plenty of elbow grease to remove the old tire dressing, then reapply tire dressing.

When I do use it, which is not too often, I use Sonax or Nanoskin Wet Look VOC.

Me as well. Relatively cheap, effective, and has a pleasant smell when applying.

This^^ Natural clean rubber looks the best. No need to paint tires on any car any year.

If a guy insists on tire dressing, try lemon pledge, it works great and lets tire look natural.

The Bleechwhite stuff takes the brown oxidation off the tire. You can get it at Walmart.

On the tires I spray it on a sponge to apply it

I've used Sonax and 303 interchangeably over the years, and also put a few drops of the former on one of those tire dressing applicators (fancy sponge). The finish of each is the same subtle satin look, but Sonax does last longer.

The key to Sonax is to only use a little for the satin look like 303. Now that we're getting into the nitty-gritty, I do use Adams Rubber Cleaner every so often to get the tires very clean before re-applying either Sonax or 303.
