It does take some serious Tetrus skills, however! Two people, enough luggage including a cooler, a couple of cases of wine, and a king-sized pillow; all with the top down. This particular trip was over 7,000 miles (I've done longer in a Vert).
I did ship a 9x12 rug and a bunch of throw pillows home.

Yup. I'm in the middle of a 4-week road trip from California to Washington DC and back. We have 3 C6's and 3 C7's. All but one with two people in the car.
I don't think anyone said you can't take a C7 on vacation - with its storage space it works well. The biggest problem I would have in using mine is the lack of seating space for our two kids.

Well we also have our 2 small rescue dogs with us as well soooooo. you can take "kids" with you
