Love it or hate it?

Not crazy about the red - but black may look OK and it eliminates the dividing line
So the other day I was noticing that the C7.R's are two-tone. Yellow top with a black bottom from the lower crease on down that wraps around the whole car. Thought I'd play around in Photoshop and see what I could do with my GS. The red is a little bright (hard to get the right shade), but generally speaking, what do you think? Like? Dislike? Those panels are flat enough that I could probably do a vinyl wrap on my own to get the effect.

I don't like the two tone idea, but I'm not wild about the C7 anyway, sorry

I like the creativity and think that either of the combinations look good. Whichever one prefer is the one you should do. This is similar to stripes, either you like them or you don't. Me, I am a stripes guy, and I appreciate a lot of the creativity I see here.

That looks horrible. Please dont.

I also think it takes away from the lines of the C7. With my C4, the two tone was a good look because of the separation that was clear from the top to the bottom. No separation like that on the C7.

C7 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist 2021
I am naturally an artsy and creative mind and dare to be different so I like the concept and would recommend one change. I would keep the red below the door and below the scoop and keep both white so the red is more of an accent and not an distraction.
That way, it would be a nice continuum to the width of the red in the front fascia as well. I really like with the right subtle accent. I attempted to illustrate what my thoughts are by mocking up the areas that should remain white. I would love to see the rendition as I described as I definitely would consider the look as I don't like looking like every other car.
I definitely standout in a crowd of look alike cars.....The beauty of the C7, almost all renditions that people choose demonstrates the versatility of the design that you can make it your own and still keep the beauty of the car in my opinion. Something might not be your taste but we are all different and I respect anything that someone does that they like for their own car.
Lastly, I love the darker red shade and would envision the Hash Marks being the same color as the darker red but perhaps you can look at tin both colors. The darker gives a more rich look but the lighter might look nice as well.

C7 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist 2021
I Don't care for how the gray plays off the white as it blends in with the white and the wheels, I think the red gives it more contrast and pop!
Nice getting all the feedback. To Thunder22's point, it's true that the C7.R look is different on the rear, but I'm not trying to exactly mimic it. For those that said "Nooooooooooo", perhaps something a little less red? For the C7.R, the black doesn't draw attention to itself. The yellow with black bottom works well. Perhaps more difficult to pull off the same thing with a white C7. Still, I could go with a light grey or silver for something a little less attention grabbing.

I like it primarily because I think it looks good with the thick black stripe separating the white and red. I would ditch the hash marks or do them in the same darker red and border them with a thinner black stripe.

I think it breaks up the looks of the car too much. I could see some owners will like it, but I think they would be in the minority.

Personally I like it. I'm not a white car fan so breaking the color up looks real nice to me. I have a 1981 Corvette coupe with the two tone paint on it and it looks real sharp, at least to me. Good job!

Winter is setting in and the garage isn't heated, so this thought will have to sit, but come next year when things warm up again, at the least I can maybe experiment some Plastidip just to get a feel for what it actually looks like. Certainly wouldn't start out with a paint job.

That's a good idea. Nothing permanent, and if you don't like it, just peel it off.
